A consortium of FSUE "Space Communications" (GPCS) and LLC "Race-Communication" has won a competition to create a satellite network for the North-Eastern Bank of Sberbank of Russia.

Consortium of companies: the Russian national satellite communications operator FSUE "Kosmicheskaya Svyaz" (GPKS) and system integrator LLC "Race-Communication" won an open tender for the right to conclude a contract with the North-Eastern Bank of Sberbank of Russia for the provision of services for the organization and leasing of digital satellite communication channels to create a satellite transmission network data at the points of presence of the bank's structural divisions in the regions of the Far East (Magadan Region, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Kamchatka Krai).

In accordance with the terms of the contract, during 2011 it is planned to create a VSAT network with a central station in Magadan, which will unite more than 150 remote objects of the bank into a single telecommunications environment. The network will use the resource of the Express-AM3 spacecraft (140 ° VD), which will allow connecting users throughout Eastern Siberia and the Far East.
