The new NM-HDA module with a high density of analog voice ports for Cisco 2600 and 3600 series routers allows you to directly connect analog telephone equipment (devices and telephone exchanges) to Cisco 2600 and 3600 series routers. This creates prerequisites for the use of new packet telephony applications, advanced call management, and full integration into the Cisco AVVID architecture in corporate networks and service provider networks.

The NM-HDA module works with packet telephony technologies such as VoIP, VoFR and VoATM, and is an effective solution for transmitting analog voice and fax messages. The module provides standard analog interfaces for telephones and stations. One module serves up to 16 analog ports (12 FXS and 4 FXO), which is four times more than when using NM-2V modules.
