Company Race Communications begins deliveries of new switches of the SuperStack 3 family manufactured by 3Com. The 4400 SE switch allows you to build high-performance reliable Ethernet local area networks with a low cost per port.

SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 SE equipment is most attractive for installations in networks with a high probability of further growth, with high requirements for fault tolerance, without the need to use level 3 functions.

The new product is equipped with 24 10/100 BaseT ports Ethernet, provides channel speed switching (wirespeed) with overall performance 6.6 million packets per second.

4400 SE switches can stack up to 8 devices, receiving up to 192 Ethernet ports. If one of the switches included in the stack fails, it can be replaced in the "hot" mode without disrupting the functioning of the rest of the LAN.

The cost of 3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 SE switches is $1295, delivered from a warehouse in Moscow.
