IPower 900 VCS systems are being discontinued.

Race Communications reports that since the second quarter Since 2003, Polycom has been decommissioning the IPower 900 line of equipment.

The IPower 900 series of videoconferencing systems will still be on sale for some time in limited quantities due to the stocks of Polycom partners, however , it is implied that the entire model range is not available for new orders. Customers who want to maintain the functionality and design of the IPower 900 series will be able to find replacements in the new IPower 9000 or IPower 600 models that are already available for order, including the recently introduced IPower 9400 and IPower 685.
