On July 12, the specialists of the RACE Group took part in organizing a video bridge from the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk with the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Sakhalin Region, as well as the nuclear icebreaker "Siberia" as part of the "business dialogue" event held by the national satellite communications operator FSUE "Space Communications".
To organize the communication channel, the SNARK-100R wearable satellite communication station was deployed in the Ku-band using the resource of the Express-AM5 and Express-AMU3 spacecraft. Despite the extremely unfavorable weather conditions, a videoconference was successfully held with the participation of Alexey Volin, Director General of FSUE "Space Communications". During the dialogue, the high demand for satellite communications in all remote regions of the Russian Federation was confirmed.
