Cisco Catalyst 2950 - fixed -configuration Fast Ethernet switches with high performance and functionality are designed for building local area networks. They have advanced quality of service (QoS) and multicasting capabilities. They operate under Cisco IOS. The Catalyst 2950 provides gigabit speed on a copper wire, has integrated 10/100/1000 BaseT ports and is an ideal solution when switching from Fast Ethernet to a Gigabit Ethernet reference network on a Category 5 copper pair. The Catalyst 2950 is available with 12 or 24 10/100 ports, and two 10/100/1000 ports.
