StarBlazer announces the launch of the Tandem Ku service.

Satellite Internet provider StarBlazer has launched a new service – StarBlazer Tandem in the Ku band. The TS has been put into operation and is ready to connect subscribers. The service is provided via the Yamal 300K satellite.

Subscribers of the broadband two-way satellite Internet StarBlazer Tandem Ku are offered tariffs with payment by traffic, with prepaid traffic, conditionally unlimited tariffs for web surfing with various tariff options. The speed characteristics of the tariffs, including the ratio of the speed of the forward and reverse channels, are calculated in such a way as to optimally meet the needs of home users for Internet access.

As part of the StarBlazer Tandem service, speeds of up to 6 Mbit/s in the forward channel and up to 1 Mbit/s in the reverse are available in the Ku-band. The standard set of equipment Tandem Ku 0.9 includes a terminal, 0.9 m antenna, converter, 2 Watt amplifier.
