Cisco 827-4V ADSL routers are being discontinued.

Race Communications informs that Cisco 827-4V ADSL routers have been discontinued since May 31, 2005. The manufacturer's support for previously purchased Cisco 827-4V routers will continue until June 2010, and software updates will be released until June 2006.

As a replacement, Race Communications experts recommend Cisco 1700 or Cisco 2800 series routers that combine broadband connectivity, integrated data transmission services, voice and video traffic, as well as security. The modular architecture of Cisco routers provides flexible capabilities in the design and construction of multi-service networks.
