Race Communications sponsors a video conferencing forum.
Race Communications, a leading Russian system integrator,
sponsored the videoconferencing forum. Forum "Videoconferencing systems and Services
: the cost of a ready-made solution" was held on October 7 in Moscow.
Race Communications, the exclusive distributor of VTEL, one of
the world's largest manufacturers of equipment and software for videoconferencing,
presented the latest developments
of its American partner at the exhibition dedicated to the forum.
VTEL produces a full range of video conferencing equipment, from
expansion boards for PCs and stand-alone set-top boxes to high-performance
stationary cabinet systems for organizing multi
-user video conferences.
SmartStation PC expansion cards are the most cost-effective solution for
video conferencing. SmartStation products provide connection via
ISDN channels (up to three BRI) and IP.
The autonomous SetTop Box devices have improved capabilities
of collective work with "paper" documents and video and audio processing.
Cabinet systems of the TC, LC and WG families provide users with the most
advanced means of collective interaction, including joint
discussion of electronic and "paper" documents, built
-in presentation tools, support for multipoint video conferences and much more.
The forum participants also got acquainted with the VTEL Galaxy cabinet systems,
which were announced in September at the conference of VTEL partners in the
EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). The Galaxy family is distinguished
by reliability, high performance, an exceptionally rich set
of features and a futuristic design. By creating the Galaxy product family,
VTEL has once again confirmed its leadership in the videoconferencing market.
