Representatives of the RACE Group took part in the XVI conference "Telecom: Rebooting Satellite Russia"
On May 31, 2024, representatives of RACE Group took part in the XVI Federal Conference "Telecom: Rebooting Satellite Russia".
The event was dedicated to the development of satellite technologies in the Russian Federation during the period of sanctions pressure. The issues of protecting orbital positions and the radio frequency spectrum within the framework of the International Telecommunication Union, plans for the development of the domestic orbital grouping and reducing the cost of communication services provided, new communication services provided on the basis of spacecraft groupings located in low and highly elliptical orbits were discussed in detail.
Special attention was paid to the development of domestic communication equipment and import substitution, in which significant progress has been made over the past 2 years.
The issues of providing satellite TV services were also raised.
