Press release: Race Communications has opened a branch of the Training Center in Zelenograd.
Race Communications has opened a branch of the Training Center on the basis of MIET — Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology (Technical University). The branch was officially opened on November 1, 2004 in the premises and on the basis of the Department "Telecommunication Systems" of MIET. On the same day, classes began in Zelenograd. The first group of students will be engaged in the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) program of the Cisco Network Academy at the International University of Engineering (MIU).
Classes will be held in the evening, in full-time and correspondence mode. The instructors of the branch are instructors of the Race Communications Training Center, and graduates of the Cisco MIU Network Academy with CCNA status work as assistant instructors.
The choice fell on Zelenograd not by chance — since its foundation, the city has been and remains a city of science and technology. Back in 1963, the most difficult task was set: to create domestic electronics in a short time. A microelectronics center was built in Zelenograd: complex research institutes, factories and educational institutions that train specialists. And microelectronics is still the main direction of Zelenograd's industry.
The CCNA training course is designed for 280 hours and contains a large number of laboratory work on real telecommunications equipment. Students of the Zelenograd branch will carry out some of the work remotely, and some directly at the Race Communications Training Center in Moscow.
"The fundamental study of network technologies and obtaining additional professional education in this field has long and deserved the interest of senior students of universities and specialists. The task of the Race Communications Training Center and its branches — to provide high—quality education that allows not only to pass international tests and exams, but also to train competent engineers focused on the practical application of the acquired knowledge," said Vladilen Ivanovich Lopatin, Professor, head of the Race Communications Training Center.
The Race Communications Training Center has been operating since 1996 and provides authorized training in network technologies and equipment of Eicon Networks, Vanguard MS, Tainet Communication, as well as special and customized courses.
The Cisco Network Academy at the International University of Engineering (MIU) was organized in 1999 by the joint efforts of Race Communications and the Regional Academy of the Moscow Institute of Engineering and Physics to train network certified specialists CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and professionals CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional). The right to conduct additional professional education in MIU is confirmed by the License of the Ministry of Education of Russia.
