Race Communications, a leading player in the market of development and provision of mobile positioning services (MLS), sponsored the Conference "Mobile Location Services – 2006", held in Moscow on June 28, 2006. The event was attended by dozens of specialists from areas related to the development and provision of services based on the location of the subscriber (LBS) in Russia.
The conference was attended by representatives of the State Duma, relevant Ministries and Departments, heads of departments of the largest Moscow and regional mobile operators, as well as service and content providers. The event aroused great interest from the specialized media, which acted as information sponsors.
The Conference discussed the prospects for the development of the mobile positioning services market in Russia in the coming years, business opportunities, the experience of Russian mobile operators with whom Race Communications is actively working, as well as foreign experience in the development and launch of services of this kind. At the end of the day, the participants had the opportunity to discuss their concerns during an interactive discussion.
