Race introduces the new 24-port Gigabit switch Catalyst 2970G-24TE.

The Catalyst 2970G-24TE is a new managed
second-level switch with a fixed
configuration: 24 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet ports. The switch
is non-blocking, i.e. it provides 1000 BaseT speed
on all ports without packet loss, has
advanced QoS capabilities using
3rd and 4th level parameters. This
is achieved due to the fact that all the main functions
of traffic processing, including QoS, are performed not programmatically,
using processor interrupts, but hardware in
specialized chips (ASICs).

The cost of the Catalyst 2970G-24TE
switch (part code WS-C2970G-24TE) according to the GPL price list is $4995,
delivered from the Race Communications warehouse in Moscow or
within 6-8 weeks.
