SNARK mobile complex on an Arctic expedition along the coast of the Laptev Sea

The Third Arctic Technological Expedition of SPbSUT along the coast of the Laptev Sea has ended in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Scientists and students tested telecommunication equipment to provide the north with communication. It is noteworthy that the members of the expedition used equipment manufactured by RACE Group to access the broadband Internet. St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after Prof. M.A. Bonch-Bruevich was founded in 1930 and is one of the leaders in training highly qualified personnel in the field of communications and telecommunications.

The Arctic expedition took place with the support of the Higher School of Economics, ANO "Russia is a Country of Opportunities", the St. Petersburg Committee for Arctic Affairs, the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), as well as other departments. The expedition started from Yakutsk, and visited Lena Pillars, Tiksi, the village of Bykovskoye, Lake Kyureekel-Kyuel and the Buluus glacier.
