Video conference in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk
On July 25, 2023, as part of a demonstration of a technical solution proposed by FSUE "Space Communications" for the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a videoconference was held from the territory of the V.A. Polyakov search and rescue squad in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The VKS was organized through the Express-AMU3 spacecraft with the help of the SNARK-100 wearable satellite station and the ground infrastructure of the Zheleznogorsk Central Space Station. The work was demonstrated to the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief Alexander Kurenkov.
The SNARK-100R portable satellite communication station is a completely domestic development and is one of the best solutions for providing mobile groups with broadband satellite communications anywhere in the Russian Federation. The complex can be deployed in 10-15 minutes in the field by an employee without using a special tool and professional skills in the field of communication. The minimum weight of the station without packaging and additional options is 15 kg.
