The new Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Point.

Company Race Communications begins delivery of new equipment for the organization of wireless networks - Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Point.

The Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Point is the central component of a wireless data network and provides communication between mobile network clients and with clients connected to a conventional wired LAN.

The device can operate using both Wi-Fi technology (IEEE 802.11b, 2.4GHz band) and Wi-Fi5 technology (IEEE 802.11a, 5 GHz band). This allows for a gradual transition from the 802.11b standard to the new standard 802.11a while preserving the investments already made in wireless access infrastructure.

Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Point has two CBUS seats for installing 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio units in any combination (supported speeds up to 56 Mbit/s) and a 10/100 BaseT port for connecting to a local network.

In the future, it is possible to use radio units that support the following wireless communication standard - 802.1g.

Power to the device can be supplied either from an AC adapter or via an Ethernet line using Inline Power technology. If necessary , to organize wireless access over a large area, users can choose a wide variety of types of external antennas in the 2.4 GHz band.

The elegant appearance and convenient mounting system will allow you to use the device in various rooms, from the office to the warehouse.

The cost of the Cisco Aironet 1200 Access Point in the basic configuration with a 2.4 GHz module installed and 1 free CBUS slot is $999.
