Race introduces HP ProLiant servers with new hard drives.

Race Communications informs that Hewlett Packard plans to transfer all ProLiant servers and data storage systems to new generation hard drives during 2006. The new 2.5-inch small-sized SCSI (SAS) hard drive with serial connection will allow more flexible use of server resources, provide increased performance, reliability and scalability while saving electricity.

In addition, the new compact hard drives will increase the density of server systems and storage devices and reduce the total cost of ownership of the corporate IT environment.
