A satellite communication network has been deployed at the General Electric 23 satellite station.
Race Communications has successfully deployed a satellite communications network on the artificial Earth satellite General Electric 23, located at the point of 172 degrees V.D. “Unfortunately, Russian national groupings today cannot provide the required amount of satellite capacity in the Far East. In the interests of our corporate customers, the group of companies deployed a satellite network in the Ku-band in the Chukotka Autonomous District, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Kamchatka Territory and the Magadan Region. The Race Group of companies also took a direct part in entering the Russian market of this ISS, and EUROCOM LLC (part of the Race group of companies) became, in fact, the first operator in Russia providing services on it,“ said Dmitry Orlov, Deputy General Director for Technical Policy of Race–Communication LLC.
