Cisco MIU Network Academy has received the status of CCNP Local Academy.

In November 2001 , the company 's branch Cisco Systems Inc. in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Asia) addressed all local network Academies with an offer to participate in the Second competition for the right to conduct training of "professionals" on the Cisco course Certified Network Professional (CCNP) along with the already mastered Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) course for "specialists". Specific requirements were formulated for the participants.

Following the results of the Second Competition , two CCNA academies from Russia, including the Network Academy, were elected among the 50 new CCNP academies International Engineering University. CCNP course training (5 - 8 semesters) in the Network The Cisco Academy of the International Engineering University will begin in October 2002.

This academy is organized and operates with the support of Race Communications is a Russian system integrator. To provide the CCNP course , Race Communications acquires a special set of equipment for conducting laboratory classes. Taking into account the current equipment of the academy, this donation allows you to simulate situations of almost any kind of complexity and use the most advanced network technologies when training specialists.
