ViewStation is one of the first group videoconferencing systems that implements the H.263 video coding standard, which significantly improves the quality of video transmission at speed 128 kbit/s. The base model is equipped with one ISDN BRI interface (128 KB/s). In order to obtain a frequency of 30 frames per second and television image quality, it is possible, using an inverse multiplexer, to use up to 4 ISDN BRI lines (up to 512 kbit/s).
